What is WWDC22?
The WWDC is the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, held annually for insight on all things Apple platforms in terms of change and future direction. WWDC has shifted to an online only event, after historically being a traditional conference that started way back in 1983.
Apple developers gain access to sessions with videos, transcripts and 1 on 1 engineering slots available.
What will be announced at WWDC22?
It is expected that Apple will unveil various software updates including iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, tvOS 16, and watchOS 9 break cover. There have also been rumours that Siri could get a search engine, something Apple have been pondering for a fair few years.
In terms of hardware the new Macbook Air and an AR/VR headset could be showcased as news grabbers.
When is WWD22?
WWCC22 will be held online between the 6th & 10th June 2022.
